SEE DJERBA Project

I’m interested in working on art that serves awareness. SEE DJERBA is a zero waste project that consists of contemporary art dedicated for water ecologies and the recognition of the cultural heritage of water.

STATEMENT

Through art, I address to others and to myself to raise awareness towards the injustice we might be silent about, the unconscious mischief we’re treating mother nature with and the blind eye we might be turning to our unfulfilled potentials. Through art also , I’m looking to practise more with materials and mediums:When it comes to analogue, I prefer recycled material and when it comes to digital, I prefer animation and video making.

In 2023, the public art project is dedicated to the ecologies of water. The artistic explorations allow delving into the nature and the culture of water.

The multifacted approach spawns from the physical propoerties of water and its various aggreate states, to its supportive and transformative power, its evolutionary role, and its essentialness or the planet’s future.

Visitors are invited to embark on a sensory journey that encourages a deeper understanding of this archaic resource and its key qualities for sustainable developments.
